The Difference Between the Ink Inside and Surface Print

The ink is a necessary material for decoration and package of printed merchandise. Through printing, the package surface becomes beautiful, colorful, beautiful and attractive. With the rapid development of the printing industry in recent years, a variety of plastic, paper packaging and printing continuously improve the increasingly high demands on product packaging grades. Composite flexible packaging printing differs from the common packaging printing, the previous one is inside printing, the later one is surface printing, the inks for both types are called inside printing ink and surface printing ink accordingly. We must analyze the difference between these two kinds of inks, then can use them appropriately.Most inks in China is combined by 20%-40% link material, 5%-15% pigments, 40% -60% organic solvents, 0%-5% addition agents. Link materials are adhesive resins, the link part of inks. The link material plays the role of attachment, it can adhesive the pigments with the printed materials and make the ink bright. Pigments decides the color kinds. Solvent-dissolving resin can adjust the viscosity, the dry speed and improve the wetting effect to the printing materials. The addition agents can play the role of improving the viscosity, resistance to elements, aging resistance and increasing the bright. The adhesion of polyamide resins are very good, and so do the bright. But it is not proper under the condition of high temperature, the fastness while being composed is very poor. Non-cooking type inside printing inks' link materials mostly are chlorinated polypropylene, some countries also use vinyl acetate copolymer resins. High temperature-resistance inside printing inks' link materials are polyurethane.
